where to mount alarm unit...?

hi there,

i am trying to mount an alarm (datatool) on my sportster (1988). but where, o, where do i put it? where do you guys have the unit itself mounted? any tips are welcome, fitting the alarm appears not the difficult job, but finding a place to mount the unit turns out to be the problem. on some bikes is see the alarm is mounted underneath the frame (just below the battery box), but not sure if this will also work for a sportster. all help and tips are appreciated

It's curious that none of the smart people on this forum have responded. Guess you're stuck with me.

By now you must have a Shop Manual for your bike? Right? That might be a good start.

Do you have Installation Manual for the product?

Try the manufacture's support or contact page.

One of those Four options should do the trick.
