Where is the speed sensor on a 2008 Street Bob?

I want to change the speed sensor on my 08 Street Bob but can not find any info on where it is
located and any tips on removing and installing a new one. Thanks! I have the speedo needle going crazy and then the bike stalling unless I rev it up.
 
Its located sort of under the starter and in the transmission case, held in with 1 bolt.
Probably need to remove starter to get it out.
Check under the starter with a flash light (look from right side of bike) and you will see it. There is a small harness connected to it.

I don't think this is causing your stalling issues.. It can cause speedo reading issues.
 
Sometimes gauges acting up and stalling can be related to a battery connection, positive or negstive, as well as a loss connection of the ground cable to frame / block.
