I change my oils once per season....my riding season is only 6 months or so...and less than 3000miles....I change them at the end of the season around November and store it for the winter so it's ready for spring!
When to change oils?

'08 Street Glide with 49.630 miles. Did install Baker DD7 at 43.000 miles.
Now run Spectro Platinum for 6 speeds (#805336) and Spectro Primary (#805325) both delivered from Bob's Cycle Supply (888) 306-2627. The engine I've always run Motul 7100. Have changed all 3 holes every 5000 miles since the 1000 mile service which was 4000 at the 5000 mile mark.:s
