Wheels for 09 Street Glide

I'm hoping some guru/experienced riders can shed some light. I'd like to know what a larger wheel size (front wheel) will do to a touring model in term of handling, braking. Specifically, going from the stock 17 to 21. Thanks.

On a touring bike, most are 16" but going to a 21" will effect the braking because of a smaller contact patch. I wouldn't do it myself but that's just me.

The 21" also doesn't ride as good as the 16" does. Had both on different bikes and there is a noted difference in ride harshness with the 21"
