What's the best thing to clean whitewalls?

    It's a chore keeping them clean, is there anything that can be used to make the task a little easier? Maybe a homemade concoction , I have tried purple power but it doesn't clean them as good as I want, even when using a scrub brush .

    Mine started to turn yellow at one point, very dirty. Try wheel cleaner, and lightly scrub with a brillo pad. Its a pain (for the rear wheel) but I've had success.

    westleys used to make a cleaner called westleys bleach white tire cleaner, It worked real good but that was 15 yrs ago...you may d0 a search and see if they still make it..my dad used it on his white walls on a old crown vic

    Westleys (?) Bleach White is still on the shelf at auto parts stores. Best thing I've ever used.

    brillo or sos pad,same thing, steel wool and some cleaner.Maybe add a little comet.

    Bleach White will damage aluminum, so be very careful where you spray it.

    +1 on the Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Don't let the Mrs catch you taking them from under the sink:s
    That's the best I've used so far.
    I throw some windex on there and clean the wheels at the same time.

    Brillo or S.O.S. pads is all I have used for yrs. with lots of elbow grease !!
