What marriage has taught me

I've learned that marriage is the best teacher of all.

It teaches you loyalty, forbearance, meekness, self-restraint, forgiveness --and a great many other qualities you wouldn't have needed if you'd stayed single

These are things that you need to know to live a good life but, I learn all of that from my mother and father when I was growing up. I love my mother and father. My wife and I taught our daughters these qualities at an early age.
