What is this plug?

    It's not hooked up to anything. It's near the tach and speedo gauges.

    Off hand I couldn't tell you. Can you tell the colors of the wires connected to it? I might be able to figure it out on a schematic.

    I'll pull the fairing off again tomorrow and let you know. It's from a 2002 Electra Glide Classic.

    Someone that has a near year touring service manual may be able to help.
    In the back of the service manual, there's pictures of every electrical connector and the proper name (that one is a 3 place Deutch). Farther back in the manual is a chart that tells the locations of each plug on the bike. It is not shown on my '07 manual in the location you describe.

    #55/56 is the tach connection, does your tach work?

    I think the connector in the pix is #6 in the attached Electrical Connector Locations from the '03 Touring Service Manual.

    Yes, my tach still works. I think TQ is right. It's the audio harness for rear speakers, of which I don't have. Thanks TQ!!
