Monday I installed a +1" over stock kickstand ( now 12" ) as I added a 4" extended front end a couple years ago and could not find a 12" kick stand until last week. I had installed a 1" aluminum block at the bottom of my old stand and secured it by drilling two holes and secured it with two bolts, I had to use that until Monday. See picture of old stand
Now bike sets nice and that awful block is gone. It was a pain installing this because the dyna kickstand bolt is buried under engine and frame. If you do this make sure you check that your old kickstand stop that fits over the new stand where the bolt secures it slides on and off or you will have to remove your heavy and hard to install spring ( had to use the penny trick ) again and file new stand.
