Weekend Spring Trip Leaving Albany NY

Hi-
I'm trying to organize a weekend trip in May for about 8 bikes leaving Albany NY. Anyone take any scenic trips leaving this area that you could share? Can't wait to get my baby back out there on the open road! Thanks for any help you can provide!!!
 
Here's an idea. Take Rt.88 south to Rt. 145. Rt 145 south to intersection with Rt. 23. Rt 23 West up Mountains to Rt. 30 North to Rt 88 back home. For a little longer ride continue on Rt.23 to Stamford and take Rt. 10 North to Rt. 88. Nice scenery and easy riding. You get both country roads and Highway riding. On Rt. 23 at top of hill there is the 5 State View overlook. Parking area on right side of road. Beautiful. Good luck and enjoy
 
I personally haven't used it yet but there's a trip planner on either the HD site or the HOG site, can't remember which.
