Weak Battery

I have a week Battery it starts the Bike but not when below zero.
My question is will a week battery damage my charging system.
I have checked out the self help.

Eventually a weak battery will be a dead battery,
Long before it can damage a charging system!
Change it out before you get stranded some where,

A weak batt. makes the charging sys work over time, it's alot cheeper changing out the batt than a new charging sys. JMO.

:s After battery is fully charged let it sit for an hour or 2, re check with a volt meter if you read at least 12.7 volts you have a full charge
