I have not seen anyone mention using tooth paste to remove water spots on paint. Try putting just a smidge on the tip of your finger and then dip your finger into a little water and then gently rub the spot. Toothpaste is pretty mild as far as cleaners go but it could very well be the ticket. I have used it for years with pretty good results although people sometimes think you are crazy when they see you with a tube of Crest rubbing out spots.
