Water intrusion in gear oil?

Has someone devised a solution for keeping water out of the trans oil coming in through the vent hose? I've tried using a breather filter, but it really doesn't prevent intrusion during a good storm.

Thanks!

My advice: take that silly little j-tube off and go to the auto supply store. Buy a couple of feet of tubing that will fit that nipple and route the tubing over the starter and to the right-side of the engine/tranny. Snake it down by the other vent tube hang down below the engine/tranny and cut it off about 3" below. That should do it, unless you are submerging the bike (not recommended!!).

TQ
