water in speedo

kemo

R.I.P
Came home from Florida last week with bike in back of truck during heavy rain. There is water in speedo now. The speedo is working at the moment but would like to know of any way to dry it out. I am thinking the rain probably dripped between windshield and fairing and dropped on speedo. Any ideas?

Difficult to remove water from the speedo. It would require removing the trim ring that is used to assemble the unit and then re installation. It's possible to do with some patients but would always leave the question to a new buyer as to why the speedo has been tampered with.

Condensation is a common complaint in the gauges but usually parking it in the direct sun on a hot day will dry things out.
