What model did you get. A few years back I tried an Ion that was on sale and was very dissappointed with the sound quality. I have decided to wait and try it again after I upgrade my computer this winter. Thanks!

I have used a software pkg. by xitel called "Record from your stereo to your computer" INport Deluxe which worked for me in converting cassette tapes to CD. Google it The deluxe version uses RCA jacks instead of USB.

I have a great B&O turntable and all of my old vinyl from the late 60's through the early 80's, and still enjoy giving them a spin every once in a while.

Thanks Jack, I'll look into it. I have well over 300 LP's in pristine condition so I want to be able to revive that music.

T, you've got that right! Mine is over 30 years old and is still the best piece of audio equipment I ever owned. My dad advised me on the purchase....probably why I am still enjoying the vinyl!
