Just wanted to say,Murphy,NC. had the Vietnam Moving Wall in town from Oct.8-Oct.12.
There was about 2,800 visiters. That's a lot for a town of about 900.All us bikers were there and they had all the high school kids out to wave us on as we took the wall down to the park.(felt good, real good)
Very nice that our Marine Corp league set it up....oorah:small3d018::cheers

We had one of the moving walls here in August. Turn out was excellent. Here is a video taken by one of the local newspapers of our escort to the site where the wall was displayed. I pass the camera at about 1:30 into the video.

Please excuse the commercial at the start of the video.

Had that down here a few years ago, went from Texas Motor Speedway to Arlington, TX, and yes I must say it did feel good, and was very emotional ceremony when we got there. :cheers

Hasn't been near our area as of yet but I would like to see it and honor the guys who made the ultimate sacrifice there. Those guys didn't get the welcome back that they so greatly deserved and it was a terrible spot on America's reputation for honoring their servicemen.
