Vance & Hines fuel pak question

I know it probably has been asked and I've been reading for what seems like days and cant find my answer. ( hoping Glider will see this and know what to do)I have installed a screaming eagle stage I air filter a fuelpak and slash cut round slip ons on my '07 FLHTCU. Initially it had a pop on decel but I tightened the clamps and the pop is gone but now I noticed that I have a pop when I accelerate after just having deceled. make any sense?? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks GREG

Contact V&H. There tech support is really good. They may have you adjust a mode or two.

The way you describe the pop, it could be from fuel built up in the exhaust from decel and the opening of the throttle on accel introduces enough air and extra fuel that it ignites (pops).

Try starting the bike and with some heavy gloves on, block the exhaust at the outlets and listen for a hissing. You can locate any leaks this way. It may be better if you have a helper listen for the hissing.
