Valvoline max life

Got a small leak in the primary. Seal between the trans and primary. thinking of trying maxlife 20w50. Have valvoline 4t synthetic in there now

I had a slight leak on my Dyna in the same spot. I tried some brand of ATF with "seal swell" to no avail. I finally determined my belt was too tight. With the properly adjusted belt the leak finally went away. But it wasn't overnight.

:s Indeed, primary chain and too tight belt can take a toll on bearings and seals

Pull the primary and replace the seals. James gasket kit is about $40. Its got all you need besides tools and some RTV, loctite, and will power. Might as well replace the shift shaft seal for $5 extra dollars whilst your in there.....
