Well fellows, here's the news... After talking to the harley service dept today I've been informed my problem is the clutch basket. Seems as though on this particular bike the ring gear is pressed into the clutch basket and after a while the metal wears out on the basket not having enough to hold the ring gear in place causing it to spin around the basket. He said some models used a keyway, which would also break. Now if this is'nt enough it also would seem that the staor is part of the clutch basket as well. I took a look on bike bandit and yep, it is. The damage: $700 to fix. OUCH! Now I'm beginning to wonder if my $2500 deal was'nt such a deal.
