Underway Replenishment

Freeze a couple of litres of water, store in saddlebags for long rides. Also the same with fruit juices. Cut up apples, peel & section oranges, grapes, almost any kind of fruit. Pack in zip-loc baggies around the frozen bottles. For watermelon & really juicy fruits, cube & store in snap-lid plastic containers. Some hard candy like Werthers' Originals. We usually make our own lunches and roadside stop snacks instead of buying at expensive gas stops, etc. Every couple of bucks saved is another 50 miles of riding. We are well practiced at this as around this country, there aren't any stops, period, within 50 miles, sometimes 100 miles.
