Ultra rear nut question?

Just need to know what size the nut is that holds the rear axle on a 2013 Ultra.

Had to use an adjustable tonight when I changed out the rear tire. Not the best way. Need to go buy a socket so it is easier and done right.

Thanks for any help.

1- 7/16 socket is what you need for that

I might be wrong , I think it is a 36 mm. Other members will maybe chime in.

They will both work. Depends on the the tolerances of the socket. I believe the 36mm is the correct size. But if you have a 1-7/16" that has some use, it will go right on. I have a new 1-7/16" socket and it is VERY tight but it will work.

It is 36mm. You might need two of them. I am able to use only one but two will be better. You will need belt tension tool to adjust the belt.

Thanks for the quick answer. I already have the belt tension tool. Now heading to the store to get a new socket.

I like a little looser than tooooo tight on the belt...

Remember: Riding and Heat will tighten it on a ride and sometimes TOOOOOOO Tight even when thought to be correctly adjusted... :newsmile03:
