I had the gear drive conversion on my '03 wideglide. The only thing I've noticed is that they are noisy (like Glider mentioned). I would go with the roller chain if I had it to do over.

I was told by my dealer that the tensioners were not a problem until 30K miles or so. My rear tensioner was shot at around 10K miles. Personally, I would do the roller chain conversion for peace of mind if nothing else.

i'm sold on the roller chain kit i went to my local dealer and priced the kit
if i use my stock cams and pushrods its not going to cost as much as i thought
is there anybody that has a video that shows how to install this upgrade step by step?
i'm pretty sure i can do it if i had alittle guide lol again thanks everybody!
 
no video but there is a post with pics.. ya sure ya dont wanna go with a little hotter Cams if your going to do all that work ?
 
nah bud a bone stock twincam88 has plenty enough power for me
+money is a big issue right now.......just had to send uncle sam a check.....i hate tax time lol
 
i intend to do the upgrade at the end of the month(when i have a few days off)
i've convinced myself i can do the upgrade lol already got the torrington needle bearings...
