The engine on the Limited is "twin cooled"...what is that?

Alrighty, then. Someones had too much coffee this morning. Let me rephrase, "Does anyone know why only the Limited is "twin cooled"? The other touring bikes are air cooled.

That's what I'm trying to find out, Don. I've heard that it means water cooled and that it means oil cooler.

The ones that are air & water cooled, dont have oil coolers any more.

I would say only the Limited gets WATER cooling because the HD faithful seem to be intolerable of even thinking a Harley with a radiator is acceptable. It's only on the Limited right now, to let everyone get used to the idea, and then will migrate to the rest of the bikes once it's accepted. IMHO.

If you read what Wrenchin posted the information from HD says it is air cooled. The twin cooled simply means that they are still putting an oil cooler on the CVO's and Limited models.
