Turn signals

Just picked up a '93 Ultra Classic, and rode it back from Louisiana, and noticed that the turn signals don't work at higher speeds/rpm's. Does anyone know if this is something characteristic of that year?

Do they work at lower speeds and by "not working" are you referring to blinking or not canceling?

They don't come on at all, unless i'm going slow enough to make a 90 degree turn, then come on about 95% of the time.

I would check the harness at the neck area for a possible break in the copper inside the sheathing. Turn the blinkers on and move the harness around and watch the lights to see if they start blinking/lighting.
