Turn Signal Problems

I have a 1988 FXR and the left turn signal does not work at all. light does not come on at all.neither does the indicator light.

You have checked that the tire hasn't cut the wire inside the fender?

I would ck. your connector from the handle bar switch to the harness for power to the switch. It should be located under the tank. The older units were either a Molex or Amp connector and were subject to corrosion as time passed.
