Turn Signal Module With Custom Lights

I have an '89 Electra Glide Classic. I have installed '39 ford teardrop tailights in the saddle bags. I need to know how to wire in the tailights to operate just like a car or truck does using the stock turn signal module if possible. Does anyone know how to do this or will I have to eliminate the module?

I think your bike has only a flasher unit for the signals. I believe it was '91 when the module with self cancelling signals and sensitivity to electrical load was used. Do you have to hold the button to keep the flashers active?

In looking at the parts diagrams for '89 it has the canceller, '88 still had the flasher. Under your seat should be a connector for the rear tail light. If wiring is still the same for that year then the Blue would be tail light,Red brake light,Violet left turn, and Brown right turn. I would verify it with a VOM or test light. Should be able to tie into those.
