Turn out Cycle Shack slipons

I am thinking about the turn our Cycle Shack slipons. I have seen some posts on the Cycle Shacks and most seem to say they are a good deal.

I have always liked the Wide Glides and my mental picture is with the turn out mufflers.

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to the turn out style?

I have the Cycle Shack straight pipes with turn out ends, no problem with the look or sound...slip-ons will perform a bit better as they do not fundamentally change the tune or degrade the torque as do straight pipes. I just like the look and I did end up putting baffles in to keep the neighbors happy!

I have turn outs on my 07 Streetbob Love them good pipes at a good price

My Dyna had turn outs when I got it. It seemed to set of more car alarms than the louder straight cuts I replaced them with. Turn downs bounce the sound off pavement more, seems like a "sharper" sound to me. As for Cycle Shack brand, they have been at the top of the list for value and perf. for at least 15 years.
