Tuner Or Not?

I'm hesitant to go with a tuner because of the affect the extra fuel may have on the cats life span (Canadian models in 2009 came with the cat.). That and I'm cheap.:s

I for one had the download at the dealer , with a stage 1 which worked fine other than being on the lean side . I waited a couple of years then added the Doebeck and noticed quite a difference in the performance , a lot better throttle response and with the added fuel it runs cooler , on the down side fuel mileage dropped a little but that I didn't mind since I don't do a lot of long trips anyway .
