Trying to get diagnostic to come up

Really need some help,trying to pull the codes on my 2000 ultra classic.But i have gone threw the steps and it want work.The speedometer want go up and back down like it is supose to and all iam getting is backwards letters.

I am not at the computer that has all the info on it, but I am pretty sure 2000 bikes don't perform WOW (speedo sweep) tests. Codes are not pulled that way. You didn't say if your bike was FI or carbie and what steps you performed.

have you gone thru the bikes elec. connections and put a dab od diaeceltrical grease in the connection? just a suggestion.

the bike is fuel injected,iam just getting some backwards letters coming up.and it looks like cal04 .
