Triple tree/risers

Hi all,
I have a 2011 XL883L Super Low and am wanting to fit bars and risers. The upper triple tree bracket and risers are a one piece unit (integrated). Has anyone been able to fit risers to this set up or do I need to replace the upper bracket with one from an earlier model? Thanks in advance

Most folks with that setup buy those riser inserts. They fit (bolt) right into the risers coming out of the tree. They have a curved bottom that fills the rounded area. I see if I can track a link down.

Well a year ago I was running across these things on several sites. But now I was only able to find one. The tallest riser extensions it sold appeared to 4".

here is the link,
Dyna Products

If you want them any taller maybe you will have better luck than I did. Additionally I could not find any with a pullback.

In the old days we used to just mount a 1" (hand polished or painted) cold rolled steel round bar (long enough to protrude out past the risers 1") in the OEM riser clamps and then mounted dogbone risers onto the steel bar and then at the other end of the dogbones we mounted our drag bars or whatever. Used to could get dogbones in 4 thru 8 inch rise. Couldn't seem to find any tonight.

I didn't change the triple tree. I am working with loner Industries and testing their prototype.

Some parts aren't a perfect fit but if you are thinking of getting rid of your triple tree, why not send it in to Loner and have them help get it closer. With those pics, there is only so much I can do but others might help. He will be sending me Round II to try.

I did try them out for a bit and they work fine. Now the bike is in pieces since I am installing a Wild1 Chubby W508 handlebar on it and have to rewire and change the brake hose, clutch and throttle cables
