I just laid the bike over turning into a gravel drive and the the next day did it again on wet grass. Now the tranny seems to be shifting funny, hard to get in 2nd and floats between gears. Just wanted to know if this could be because of the wrecks

I would suppose that a lot would depend upon how fast you were travelling, how hard you hit and which side it went down on.

If you laid it down on the left side you may have bent the gear leaver and or likage so give it a good check over as something may be fouling on something else

As Fin suggested,it sounds like you bent the shift lever and thats effecting the shift points.

leaver never hit ground because the crash bars just wondering if the jaring could have done something inside the tranny

It should not have jarred anything .. check and make sure nothing is coming loose and this just isn't a coincidence
