I bought a jug of RED LINE 75W90ns by mistake before I read the label propewrly.I know its no good for my Wide glide tranny(5gear)now a friend of mine has a 6 speed box on his 07 nite rod.The back of the jugs says its a SAE 75W90 recommended for API GL-5.Can my buddy use this oil in his tranny???It would save him some money, and help me get rid. Thanks guys,Iknow you'll come thru on this for me,like always.

Can you take it back, or have you already opened it?

Redline 75w90NS is a non limited slip differential lube in the GL5 category.

It would probably be OK but I would return it for the proper lube if you can.
