tranny oil

I bought a jug of RED LINE 75W90ns by mistake before I read the label propewrly.I know its no good for my Wide glide tranny(5gear)now a friend of mine has a 6 speed box on his 07 nite rod.The back of the jugs says its a SAE 75W90 recommended for API GL-5.Can my buddy use this oil in his tranny???It would save him some money,and help me get rid.Thanks guys,Iknow you'll come thru on this for me,like always.

Redline 75w90NS is a non limited slip differential lube in the GL5 category.

It would probably be OK but I would return it for the proper lube if you can.
