torque spec on rotors

Hey gang,

Can you folks give me an educated answer to this one?
I am replacing the front brake rotor bolts with new chrome ones. ( Harley parts)

The Harley instructions say to torque to 24 ft. lbs. Now the service manual says to torque ( I would imagine they are talking about the stock unchromed ones) to 30 - 45 ft. lbs. Thanks in advance. Happy New Year !!

Front & rear brake disc's have different torque, if their front, instructions should be right.
Front brake rotors - 16-24 ft lbs.
Rear braske rotors - 30-45 ft-lbs

Thanks, Chopper. You are correct. I was in a hurry and reading the info in the manual for the rear when I shoulda been reading about the front.
