Tmax on the Switchback is very very hot!!!

I put my tmax in the recomended position under the fuse panel. I rode for and hour at 80 degrees and pulled in to link the tmax up and adjust the idle. The module was so hot I could barely hold on to it. I do not think this is very good for electronics... Any Comments. I have notified Thundermax and Zippers both..

If it's that hot...time to find a new home. Any wiggle-room under your seat?

the two plugs that plug into the ecm would have to be added on to in order to reach clear up to the undseat position. Those two plugs I would not want to cut. The way I see it all fld switchbacks must have hot ecms (stock or not) in the factory location....

I rode again in 60 degree weather and everthing is cool. but really hot days could be a problem

I'm guessing the heat is comming from the engine?
Can you make a shield and than some type of spacer for air gap? Along with some type of air scoop to pull air across it for cooling could help.

it is pretty packed in its location. I ended up buying a spare to take with me.
