have a 09 fatboy only got 7000 mi out of original tires.also about the same on my superglide.Is this about avg. talk to some and they say should get around 9000-10,000 just wonderin?

Tyre wear is all down to the conditions under which the tyre is used correct tyre pressure should be maintained at all times hard acceleration and breaking will reduce service life of the tyre
if you are mainly doing a steady speed on an open road then your tyres should last longer if your hopping around town from traffic light to traffic light then youll get less miles

makes since usually go to florida twice a yr. to work alot,quite a bit of local bar hopp'n with friends.
Almost 12000 on my stock Dunlop front tire and still good to go!
