Tire wear indicators

I did have a blow out of rear tyre in 1979 and perhaps since then I have been a wee bit particular about my tyres on both motorcycles and cars
Luckily at the time of blow out I was properly dressed in full leathers and helmet and managed to slide away from bike with only a lot of bruising and a long walk to destination

It is amazing that with new tires the handling and ride quality is like a new bike. On used up tires especially on a heavy bike it handles and rides very rough and can cause a ride to become tiring. And as suggested getting a flat on a bike is no fun at all especially if out on the road.
