Tire tube first timer

    I have purchaced some tires online for my 2000 Ultra and want to change the tubes and rim strips is there a recomended brand or any I should stay away from? Is Bikemaster ok? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

    are your wheels laced or are they other than laced? if laced drag specialties brand is pretty good have not had any problem with them. other than laced it should not need a tube.

    AS i am in the UK what is available here may differ from what you can get but for a tube i stay with ones from a known tyre manufacturer and usually all i can get for my 1 laced wheel is continental
    you may also need to check that the tube you are buying is suitable for road use as tubes for off road use have a different set of requirements and are often not suitable for road use

    If you stay with an on line purchase, just go with a good motorcycle outlet like J&P. the price should dictate the quality and you will get the right tube.
