Mac 101: Time Machine

I use Time Machine on my Mac and it works great. I just plugged in an external hard drive and Time Machine took care of all the details. A few months ago I got a new Mac, and when I plugged in that old hard drive, it transferred all my programs and files. I had my new computer all set up to my customized settings easily in the same afternoon I bought it home.
