And the dealerships service writer reply was he knew of none whatsoever.

OK. It's time to call a different dealer. You really need the revision number of the software or a tech tip associated with that revision number.

It sounds like your dealer is a putz. It's an update or tech tip for the TBW and not a "fix" .

Ask him if he could check HD Net or find another dealer that knows what they are doing.

Copy this and take it to the dealer...
