In our paper this morning. Happened Friday night.

Three people are dead and one is wounded after a shooting at the "Too Broke for Sturgis" motorcycle rally at Mormon Lake last night.
The shooting happened at about 11:20 p.m., said Gerry Blair, spokesman for the Coconino County Sheriff's Office. Several shots were fired.
Two men and one woman were killed at a campground near Mormon Lake Lodge, Blair said. Another woman from the same group was shot six times. She has been taken to Flagstaff Medical Center to undergo emergency surgery. Two other women in the party were also taken to FMC to be treated for shock.
About 40 people were detained at the scene for questioning.
Steve "Muskrat" Musgrave, an event organizer, was listening to a band and hearing people laughing and having a good time.
"And then I heard the shots go off," he said.
Also at the event, Mike Felong, said, "Somebody shouted 'Happy New Year!' but I knew immediately that they were gunshots."
The names of the victims are not being released pending notification of next of kin, Blair said. A spokesperson for Flagstaff Medical Center declined to comment if any victims with gunshot wounds were admitted to the hospital, citing confidentiality laws.
No suspect is in custody at this time, and Blair said officials are working the possibility the shooting may be a homicide-suicide. At the scene, investigators learned that the two women had been sitting in chairs outside a camper when they were shot. One man was found shot several times. The other man was found dead on the ground with a handgun near his hand, Blair said.
Blair added that deputies assigned to the rally heard what sounded like gunshots at about 11:20 p.m. Friday and advised dispatch to note the time. Soon after that, a flood of calls came into the 9-1-1 system advising dispatch of a shooting with multiple victims at the campground.
There are about 2,000 people attending the motorcycle rally in the little community of Mormon Lake, about 35 miles souteast of Flagstaff.
According to the event website, the rally, in its 20th year, was scheduled to take place Friday through Sunday. Sheriff's officials are saying the rest of the event has been canceled.
The event sponsor is ABATE of Arizona. According to the ABATE of Arizona website, it "is a non-profit motorcycle rights organization that is dedicated to freedom of the road for all motorcyclists. ABATE is a volunteer organization that fights discriminatory legislation aimed toward the motorcycling community."
Several local agencies are involved in the investigation. More details will be made available as they come into the Arizona Daily Sun.

Followup article:

The shooting at a motorcycle rally at Mormon Lake on Friday night that left three people dead and one critically injured appears to have started out as a dispute over food.

Detectives are investigating the possibility that the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide, and that alcohol consumption was a factor in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
