I learned about your site on ADVrider, where TXRKC recommended it as a good place to learn and share info on HDs without attitude or drama - sounds great to me!
I have a 1993 Sportster that was "stored" in a chicken coop for 8 years. After a lot of cleaning and putting things right, it's a fun bike.
I'm also working on a 2000 FXST that was in a cow barn for 5 years, and am replacing rusted parts with other people's take-offs to keep expenditures low.
I have and have had Japanese (Honda Hawk GT and Yamaha FJ1200), British (Norton Commando 850) and Italian (none now, but old Ducati singles). I like (so far) working on these neglected HDs.
I hope to be able to both draw from and add to the knowledge base here.
