I am from France, near Paris I didn't see other people from my country.
I spent sometimes in California (2 or 3 times a year) since 1977.
And I love the US:s

I like the idea of both, native language and English...it is so nice to read French or other native tongues...it is a gentle reminder of our international flavor as well as the early days I was taking French class in school...n"es pas?
