that is true. i lost the bell on a ride few days before super storm sandy the i lost my bike bike

The bell works!

Had one on my Honda VTX, hung off the tip of the rear fender. Dropped off one ride, bounced and hit another rider in the chest. Did not replace the bell.

A very few weeks later the VTX got cozy with a pickup and the insurance company wrote it off as a total. My riding buddy had a bell for the current Dyna as soon as I rode home.

I just put mine last night my girl friend gifted it to me. It came with a bell hanger too it's pretty cool
