TFI mleage

Took the 2010 tri-glide on a 900 mi trip.Comment;riding 2 up running in 5th gear up hills/curvres/stop/start 3000 rpm I got 31 mpg.Running the interstate in 6th gear 2500-2700 rpm I got 27.5-28.5 mpg. I have the TFI,wild pigs slip-ons,and k&n.My green pot is at 2:30 because thats where it ran the smoothess. The yellow is at 3:15.I can cut the yellow back to say 3ish to help mid range. If I cut back the green pot to say 2:00 am I running it too lean again? Thanks for any comments. bp

You can back down the yellow (accelerator) pot a bit that will improve the MPG without effecting the performance noticeably.

banjo picker,

You are caught in the riding dilemma...PERFORMANCE OR MPG?

The Green Pot has the largest affect over both. With your modifications running at 2:00 will be fine. Usually running anywhere from +/- 0:30 from our recommended settings will be fine. It usually comes down to user preference, modifications, and riding style.
