TFI & Cam

I have a '97 RK bone stock. I'm thinkin' of the TFI 1040ST, stage 1 A/C, and Andrews EV-27 cam (gotta get rid of that INA cam bearing, can't see puttin' the stock cam back in!). I like the stock exhaust and don't want to change it. The bike gets an honest 50-52 mpg, consistently, at 60 mph. I don't mind losing a couple mpg to get more torque and hp, would be especially helpful 2-up. Does this setup sound OK? Ideas on initial pot settings? Thanks, Bill

Sounds like a good setup. Initial settings to start with are:
Green pot - 3:00
Yellow pot - 6:00
Red pot - 4:00
RPM pot - 4:00

Thanks! I'm leaning more now to the EV 13 cam, I think it will be better with stock compression, and for low end torque.

That is a good choice. I have the TC version of that cam (Andrews 21) and am well pleased. It has more power across the board. :s
