My latest repair of '08 ultra, noticed MPG increase from 40.5 to 44.5 MPG. Found TFI no power. Found the ground wire broke at the sta-con terminal at the battery.Also the Positive wire for battery tender was broken. There isn't much room in there when replacing the plastic battery cover and I may have crunched it against these wires, or just vibration caused both wires to break at the crimp. Positive tender wire by dealer and I installed negative TFI. Repaired and made sure wires have slack and battery cover not pushing on wires. It really pays to watch your MPG each fill-up.
