ready to get me a short LIGHT tented windshield. does anybody use it on their touring. need opinions how they are at night . can u still look through them or they are too dark at night?

I have a 10" light tinted windshield on my Ultra.
If getting a short ws, you'll be looking over the ws.
I tried a dark tinted ws and didn't like it when making a turn at a corner at night.
I couldn't look down through it to the road.
 
Yea i used to have a short dark ws and one night coming late from friend in otger city . Was like riding standing on bike just to look over ws . Couldnt c anything through it esp3cially in back road. . Thanks for reply

Yeah, they might look cool (especially with the fancy graphics) but I need to see where I'm going in a turn.
I'm running the 10 1/4" National Cycle and that has a very light tint.
Got it on sale from J&P.
Doesn't bother me when riding.
Hardly tell there is a tint.
