Tank Riser

Is there any advantage or disadvantage to a 2in. tank riser?

Just looks and trying to look like a chopper. I wouldn't use it on any bike but that's just me.

Did the lift affect your fuel gauge or do you have to watch your milage?

If you have rocker box bolt covers, you will have to get more than 8, because more will be exposed when you raise the tank. Not a big deal, but the HD ones are about 30 dollars for 4. Just a thought.

It does change the fuel gage readout. The first half goes faster than the second. Not that my original or my LED gauge were all that accurate anyway. I rely on mileage over gauge anyway.
