Surging when cruising--need help

Have a 04 Road King Custom,just changed mufflers from stock to Vance and Hines ovals,done no modifications execpt, Bike seam to loose and gain power when cruseing, but just slightly ,what do I need to do? Would a power commander and K/N air filter worke?

A power commander and K/N air filter would do the trick, it sounds lean.

You may want to check out the TFI, no maps to deal with.

Fredrick J, don't forget those plastic corrogated fuel hoses in the tank, when you lose fuel pressure and fuel starvation, due to pin holes that surging may not be just a symptom but have a root cause...
