Thanks to a bird that wanted to commit suicide yesterday and used my head light! I was going down the interstate running about 75 and a bird came from no where right into my head light. Broke the hole assembly off, so now i'm stuck in the cage until the new one gets here. Pretty scary moment when it happened.

Did you ask your Ins. Co. if they would cover the cost??

No, I didn't even think about it. I figured I would pay since the cost was so low and not have to deal with them.

good move the cost is probably lower than your deductible if you have one.

01dynaglide, glad you are okay. I had an incident with one of those kamikaze birds this summer, very scary. Glad you are okay, lucky it was only the headlight. Oh yeah, be glad it wasn't a turkey :s, a guy I worked with years ago hit a turkey in his work truck and it nearly took out the whole windshield. Hope you are back on the road soon.
