Street glide tru duel bracket breaking

Have a 09 street glide with V&H tru duels, I have broke the the bottom bracket twice in the same spot. It's the one the bolts to the cross under pipe and transmission. Has anyone else had this issue? I have no marks from bottoming out. V&H techs say,s it install, harley say,s is part issue.

I agree with Smitty. The whole thing needs to be bolted up loose, and than tightened from the heads out. If any part is in a bind you will have problems with headers brackets or pipes cracking. I installed V&H true duels on my 05RG (no cross under) and the headers and brackets are first rate.

thanks guys had a shop put them on. I guess always better off doing it yourself.
